About Young Realtist Memphis

Our History

The Young REALTIST® Division of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, Inc. was created and approved by the NAREB Board of Directors as a NAREB affiliate division in 1996. We are aware of the challenges in the real estate market for African American and minority real estate professionals, consumers, and communities. We’re particularly concerned about the low homeownership rates among millennials, especially in Black and minority communities across America.

We are committed to solving this issue by growing the YRD community through membership and providing our expertise in making a positive impact within the neighborhoods that we serve and increasing our overall community wealth to establish sustainable change.

In 2022 Memphis was chartered as an official chapter.
